Post Oak Baptist men participate in and support many programs and activities in the church. It is our goal to help throughout the church where we are needed to further the Lord's work. Come and be a part of our Brotherhood group. Our church bus is available for those who need transportation for all services. If you would like transportation, call the church at 726-2157.
This is a dedicated group of volunteer individuals who join together and enhance the Sunday morning worship service through special songs. Musicals are also worked on and performed at appropriate times. Anyone who is willing to join us is welcome to come and help lift up the name of Jesus through song.
This is for all children in grades 1 through 6. We sing choruses and musicals, play games, memorize Scripture, and have a lot of fun praising the Lord. Come and bring a friend.
This ensemble consists of brass, woodwind, string, and percussion players who accompany the Sunday morning worship services.
This group is 7th through 12th grade teenagers who love to sing and lift up the Lord in Sunday evening worship services, and in musicals throughout the year. Come and bring a friend.
G.r.o.w. stands for "God rewards our work". This is the outreach tool that we use to reach out to Russellville and Logan County and show them that we really are "The Church that Cares". If you are interested in participating, please contact the pastor or associate pastor.
For this group of adults, an activity is planned about every other month for fellowship and enjoyment. These actvities are varied and consist of day and night time functions to allow for maximum participation. Come and rejoice in the Lord with Christian friends.
Activities every other month are planned for any and all of our adults seeking fellowship with other Christians. Come and join us.
Children's church is available every Sunday during the morning worship service. The children sing and worship on their level.
Nursery is provided every service.
This is a mission education program for boys in grades 1 through 6. They will develop a greater understanding of missions at the local, state, national, and international levels. This understanding leads boys to develop personal commitments of missions involvement as a part of their Christian experience.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend our Sunday school each Sunday morning at 10:00 A.M. We have a class just for you. If you are not sure which class suits your needs, please call or stop by the church office. We will be happy to tell you about all of the classes we have available.
There is a place for everyone in our discipleship training department. On Sunday night, various groups meet and study God's Word. Come and be a part of this fellowship.
This is discipleship training for preschoolers and children (Grades 1-6). Team Kids allows them to participate in a high energy program designed to enhance Bible study, Scripture memorization, and fellowship.
This is a minstry for and to all teenagers in grades 7 through 12. We want to connect each teenager into a living, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior, and then help them to mature in this relationship of faith. We also want to provide encouragement and opportunity for them to share their faith whether through evangelism, ministry opportunities, or missions trips and projects.
WMU (Women's Missionary Union) This is a church missions organization designed to help women, girls, and preschoolers learn more about who our neighbors are and how to minister and witness to them. The age level organizations are as follows: Women on Mission (Ages 18 and older) - First Wednesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. There is also a program called "Youth on Mission" that meets monthly.
This is a Bible study group which meets once a week for in-depth Bible study. There are two to three 12 week studies a year. Everyone is invited.
The Creative Ministries program will involve puppets, drama, sign-art, interpretative movement, etc. These different areas of creative arts are used at different times to enhance the worship services and/or in areas of specific ministry during mission trips and projects. Anyone willing to join us is welcome.
